Resistance to Toxins & Radiation: Un, she has a hyperactive lymphatic system that renders her effectively immune to all toxic or poisonous chemicals and gases, up to and including nuclear radiation. Her lymphatic system secretes chemicals that neutralize blood-borne toxins and nerve agents; her sweat glands secrete chemicals that neutralize blistering and caustic agents; her cilia are extremely absorbent, reducing the chances for irritants to reach her lungs; her cell nuclei deflect radiation. She is also immune to most diseases, specially designed poisons, and mind-controlling agents.
-Idealized Physique: A side-effect of her powers, Carmilla is in peak physical condition as her body's unique chemistry keeps her in top physical shape regardless of what she ingests. She has an increased endurance and can exert herself far longer than most because her body absorbs and converts lactic acid build ups into nutrients that she can use, making fatigue a rare thing for her to encounter. She requires less sleep than the average person, as well.
-Toxin Absorption: Mn, Scorpion is capable of harmlessly absorbing any known toxin, effectively eliminating its presence thus protecting others around her.
-Toxic Touch: Mn, Scorpion can redirect the accumulated toxins through her left arm with effects ranging from mild nausea or stun to gruesome death for anything she touches.

Limitation:
-Her ‘Stinger’, as she has dubbed her left arm, always secretes toxins, and although she can control the concentration of toxin she can never completely turn the ability off. This takes a lot of effort to control, and even if she subdued it to the best of her ability, continued exposure for more than several weeks can sicken most people if her gauntlet does not sheath it.

It allows the wearer to know the approximate direction and distance of the wearers of the other rings of the set, and get base emotions from them, like the power Empathy does.

History:
Carmilla Black is a genetically engineered human, created by Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.). Though A.I.M. Scientist Supreme Monica Rapuccini considers her a daughter, she grew up with adoptive parents, who were also agents of A.I.M., never knowing of her or their involvement with the organization.
Carmilla considered herself a normal teen until her latent powers manifested on the night of the prom when she was elected as Queen of the Prom at age 16. Her mutated arm, which she has taken to calling her stinger, discharged a highly concentrated dosage of toxins, killing her King. Scared of the social and legal backlash she would suffer, she fled her small home town. For years, She lived on the streets, surviving however she could, constantly roaming from place to place.
She met with young Rafael Gurney during her time at San Fransisco. They met at a capoeira circle, when she sat among the crowd, watching the practice and their eyes met. After the session they talked... a lot. Since Carm was on the move, after a while the talks were on the phone or e-mail, but the two eventually fell in love.
When 3 years later she learned her adoptive parents had been murdered, she returned home. She came to suspect that S.H.I.E.L.D. may have had her parents killed, and found a birth certificate suggesting she was a princess of the Madipoor Royal Family. After she was captured by S.H.I.E.L.D., she learned that her parents were actually A.I.M. agents, and she herself became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. under the code name Scorpion.
Following information leading to her biological mother, Carmilla learned her mother was 'Scientist Supreme' of A.I.M., Monica Rappaccini. Scorpion infiltrated the organization, learning that she was engineered to survive disease and even nuclear fallout, and that there were others like her.
These teens were designed to survive any situation they may encounter, from a global plague intended to collapse industrial society to nuclear fallout. While the other teens were chemically-induced to be completely loyal to A.I.M., Scorpion discovered the mutation which gave her stinger also made her immune. Carmilla lost her cover in the organization when she stopped an assassination attempt on the Vice President.
Later, in 83' summer she was teamed up with Spider-girl, who arrived from another time and dimension. They quickly became best friends, occasionally doing shared missions but mostly spending their free time together.
Sometime later, around the winter of '83 she met with the Jade Jaguar again, just to be taken captive by HYDRA right after consummating their love. The young artist tried to reach her via SHIELD but met only walls after submitting his plea and hint about her capture. Fortunately for them, Spider-girl sought him out, they teamed up with some other young would-be heroes and rescued Carmilla. It took a good lawyer and more than a few papers signed to keep the operation under covers but at the end Scorpion II and Spider-girl were released from strict policies and now work freelance for SHIELD while living under the same roof with Jade Jaguar as a family.
