Known Powers:
Kinetic Control: Am46, Sam can control the energy of motion itself. He can increase or decrease kinetic energy's Intensity by his Power rank number. With a Typical Intensity FEAT, he can change the direction of any moving target. He can impart momentum as if he physically pushed the target, with his Power rank taken as Strength. [range: 2 miles]
-Kinetic Sense: Am46, Sam is able to sense the energy of motion in every moving thing around him. This is like a passive sonar with Sam's head in the centre of it. He senses the actual volume of an object's momentum and his brain converts this information to a huge 3D map of moving objects. [range: 1 mile]
-Telekinesis: In36, Sam can handle material objects without having to make direct or indirect physical contact (pushing or blowing, for example). He can perform any action that could be accomplished using normal Strength. The Power rank serves as an equivalent for the Strength rank. [range: 11 areas]
-Flight: Rm26, controlling his own body's movements in accordance to the Earth, he can fly at great speeds, but he still needs phyiscal equipment to allow breathing at high altitudes or at high speeds

Resistance to Physical Attack: Rm30, after his accident he received experimental treatments in the second hospital which not only allowed him to walk and act normally again, but made his body more resilient to any physical injury. This includes brute force, chemical weapons, biochemical, disease, hostile environments, and temperature extremes.
--Lung Adaptability: Ex16, Momentum can breathe any gaseous or liquid medium without harm. His lungs can extract required gases or even create them by converting available elements. Gases created by this Power retain their new nature while still within the hero's body; upon exhalation they revert to their original nature.
--Regeneration: Ex20, his resistance is so advanced that he heals much faster than an ordinary human (1 Hp / every 2 minutes)

Limitation:
-Energy Allergy / Incapacitation / Limited Duration after Contact: he has to make a successful Endurance FEAT vs. the Electrcity source's Intensity to avoid falling unconscious

Talents: Languagues (English, Malayalam, Hindi), Anatomy, Acrobatics, Heir to a Fortune, Martial Arts CGI [Northern Kalaripayattu], Physics (Mechanics), Trivia (soccer)

Equipment:
-X-men student uniform: Good Body Armor vs Heat/Cold; Pr vs. everything else

History: History:

Samuel Ethan Blake is the only child of successful New Yorker businessman Ethan Francis Blake and the beautiful supermodel Sarah Sanders-Blake. His conception was accidental - his father was a man of thorough planning and having a child was not in his plans yet, but one reckless night changed everything. His mother didn't want a baby either, but when she found out that she was pregnant it was too late and she had to give birth to her son. This broke her career in half and she had never recovered nor mentally, nor physically from the pregnancy. Eventually she became depressed and alcoholic. Ethan Blake tried his best to help his wife and raise their child but most of his time were consumed by his job. So Sam was a very lonely child, usually accompanied by various nannys and au-pairs. He never had a real connection with his parents, although he knew they care about him, he never felt if they loved him actually. He blamed himself for his mother's sadness and tried hard to make it up for her but whatever he did it was never enough. Things only got worse when his father died in a planecrash. When Sarah heard the news she bursted into a terrible rage, crashing everything around herself. The six-year-old Sam wanted to stop her before she had damaged herself, but the attempt made her more angry and she attacked her own son with a broken bourbon bottle. She never reached him - this was the first time when Sam's powers were activated. He wished for a way to stop his mommy and the power was given to him. It was more than a way to stop her though. Sarah floated in the air like if invisible wires held her, screaming in terror. When the surprised boy tried to release her she crashed into a nearby bookshelf instead of dropping to the floor. The screaming suddenly stopped. One minute later Sam's nanny rushed into the room and she found Sarah's broken body under the collapsed shelf with little Sam embracing her legs, sobbing and whispering "I'm sorry mommy, I'm so sorry..." Sarah survived the accident but her mind shattered entirely not just her body. Bound to a wheelchair she had been moved to a sanitarium near NY City which she has never left since.

Sam has been placed to his remaining relatives, his father's parents, Francis John Blake and Emilia Blake to Phoenix, Arizona. He had never met his grandparents before because of a long quarrel between his deceased father and grandfather. They turned out to be very caring and lovely but little strict and conservative also. After years of emotional neglection and the recent shocking events Sam finally found a place where he felt safe and secure. Two things bothered him although: the psychological treatment he had to attempt, and school. His psychiatrist was only able to make a diagnosis of amnesia (he forgot what he did to his mother as a result of the shock), frustration and emotional underdevelopment with an aptitude for depression, but he was inable to cure or ease the damaged soul of Sam as the boy never wanted to open to a stranger. The school was a nightmare at first as Sam was an alien for the other kids, a rather incommunicative and distant alien. This made him "the lonely boy" in the school, which status was unbearable for him at first but he got used to it after a few months. He separated himself from the outside world after a while for a couple of reasons: he wanted to protect himself from harm while he wanted to build connections with others at the same time; he wanted to belong somewhere but he was unable to express his feelings because nobody has shown him how to do it properly before. Usually these opposite intentions caused internal turmoils, rejection from the outside, and depression as a result. As he grew older better and worse periods had came after each other and his grandparents had tried to find a solution to this problem. The psychiatrist suggested physical activities so they had begun to look for a sport which Sam could enjoy. They found soccer eventually and Sam became a goalkeeper. He was agile, clever and observant with good instincts to read the flow of the game. His first coach was a sensitive man. He saw Sam's talent and wanted to open him so he can socialize better. That's why he trained him as a goalkeeper: it was a very important role in the team as they had to rely on him and he had to rely on the defenders and had to look out for all of his teammates. He feared the responsibility will overwhelm him over time but his coach trained him well to beleive in his abilities and to trust his teammates. By the time he had to go to high school he became a successful goalkeeper. Other children accepted him at last despite his shy and melancholic behaviour.

He went to a high school with a good soccer team and quickly he became their prime goalkeeper. They won the state championship right away that year with Sam guarding the net. The coach of the national U18 team heard of him and invited him to a trial which he passed. He advanced very fast in his career. Next year they attended the U18 World Championship with 16 year old Sam not only being the prime goalkeeper but captain of the team too. They easily passed the group matches and marched to the finals with Sam's lead where they met with the powerful and flawless Brazilians. The game was very even, none of the two teams was able to overcome the other. 90 and the extra 30 minutes had passed so the game came down to the penalties. The US team scored 3 and missed 2, the Brazilians scored 2 and missed 2 and the match was decided by the last attempt of the south-american team, shot by their best player. Sam was under immense stress in this situation, at the pinnacle of his career so far. The referee blew his whistle and the Brazilian began his advance on the ball. In that one second Sam was able somehow to read his movement and he realized that it was impossible to reach the ball, which were heading to the top right corner of the goal. Sam moved without thinking and wished for the ability to reach the ball in time, to win this game with no further penalties and pressure, to become world champion... He jumped towards the ball and suddenly he realized he moved faster than he could, and in the next moment his fists hit the ball and the last thing he saw was the relief, surprise and happiness on his teammates' face before everything went black. He regained his conciousness and fainted again several times on his way to a hospital. When he was awake he heard voices saying something about broken skulls and spines, unbeleiveable reflexes and losing someone's life with other medical things he couldn't understand. The last thing he heard was his mothers voice stating she always loved him and always will, then the empty darkness embraced him.

He had spent several weeks in coma. When he finally awoke he was unable to move any part of his body, not even his eyelids. As it turned out he collided into the pole of the goal with so much force that he broke the back of his skull, neck and spine on several places. His grandmother told this to him as he lied on the bed with closed eyes, pretending as he was still in coma. She told him about winning the finals, and that everyone thought he was a hero for what he did and his room was full of gifts and flowers because of this. "I'm no hero."-he thought-"Just a cheater. I won the title of world champion by cheating, but I can't tell it to anyone." His condition and dark thoughts made him depressed again, but he sensed something in his silent slumber. He began to feel, no, to "see" his own blood flowing in his own body. This experience frightened and excited him at the same time.

One day, after he had spent almost 2 months "in coma", his grandparents and doctors came into his room with some strangers, who examined Sam. They said they were from a foundation dedicated to develop experimental medical treatments, and maybe they could help him to heal his injuries [Chimera Foundation of Altruistic Innovations for Medical Science; head of research: Ms. Nic Rappac M.D.]. The doctors were skeptical but the grandparents wanted to try every opportunity to get back their grandchild. So they took Sam to a facility where they began a slow process of recovering him. During the following months he received various intravenous and oral coctails, augmented by radiology sessions and gradually his shattered bones began to reform, his wilted and torn muscles rebuilt until he could walk again. The physical therapy took weeks, which turned months with constant exercises, supervision and pshycological control. Initially Sam did not notice that his healing was more than miraculous as he could lift more than before, jump farther than before and could shake fatigue and minor injuries off much more easily than ever before. He filed the changes next to the other ability, under the "needs practice to make it conscious" label. Eventually he was released under the condition that he'll return yearly to examination and reassessment, and he is obligated to report any sudden change in his general state.

(Sam goes to the Far East to find himself =>)

His recovery provided some optimism in him, but it didn’t wash the dark thoughts and feelings of shame and guilt away. Seeing his grandchild’s brooding, Francis John Blake decided a change of scenery was what Sam needed to get a distance between him and his problems, literally and figuratively, to provide perspective. As a former diplomat on the Far East he reached out to some of his old colleagues, subordinates and acquantances and found a fitting place for Sam: a boarding school for mainly foreign children in New Delhi, India. (The British School, http://www.british-school.org/) The new environment was a bit odd for Sam at first but as he became acquainted to the circumstances and the friendly and caring new people around him he felt more and more secure. His classmates accepted him from the moment he met them and the genuine and judgement-free curiosity of the community towards him helped him to open up and face his problems with the support of his teachers and peers. The need for physical activities was much higher in him after the months spent with recovery in hospital, so he looked into the local possibilities. They had yoga classes in school which greatly helped him focusing his newfound powers. The slow and concentrated motions, the focus on breathing and finding balance in different poses and postures, and the philosophy of general happiness and acceptance of self – all of these started a transformation which concluded in a person who is more aware of his own importance, his place in the world and his unique abilities.

The more spiritual nature of the culture and society around him made him more humble and caring too. He decided he wanted to do good with his powers and solve conflicts between people so he sought out a martial arts facility to train his strengthened, hardened and more agile body as well as his spirit. He found there a master of Kalaripayattu, an ancient Indian martial arts style. During his training he focused on defensive techniques such as grabs and holds to pin down and overpower opponents and prevent further conflict and potential bloodshed. He mastered his new powers too: he became accustomed to sense the movements of his surroundings – from as subtle as heartbeat, breathing and a soft breeze carrying a small leaf to enormous proportions such as heavy rain, speeding trains, large ships and even tectonic movements. He experimented with the control of these movements also, but he kept a very low profile doing so: the neighborhood of the dormitory in the school became a much more safer place with less car crashes, dropped mugs and textbooks, and collisions in the hallways. But he couldn’t help becoming more popular with his fellow students when he „predicted” the arrival of a teacher accurately a few times.

Meanwhile he also grown more fond of his classmates and other students, and especially a girl named Heather Fox, the daughter of a diplomat from the US. He would never admit it even to himself but she reminded him of his mother with her beauty, temper and grace. Heather was a centerpiece of the community as a member of the students council, a fierce fighter of human and children rights, a selfless caregiver, a would-be lawyer and a passionate painter. She was the complete opposite of Sam a way – outspoken and openly emotional about everything she cared about, whereas Sam was still mostly shy and silent. She liked Sam but only as one of her kind hearted classmates with good manners. She was dating one of the most popular boys of the school, they were „the perfect couple”, until something terrible happened. This was Sam’s first true test as a new, changed man.

It happened at the end of his first school year in May. (In the British School, a year starts at the end of July and finishes in late May.) It was the time for the annual year-ending ceremony and celebration for all students and teachers with festivities all day and a huge reception and dance party (for the high school students and teachers) in the evening. Sam didn’t really liked the idea of partying all day and he wanted to see his crush having a good time with someone else even less, so he went for an extra training session to the martial arts centre with his master and mates there. After he finished his plan was to just stop by at the reception, drink some punch and call it a day early, but as he was walking back towards the school he saw the police swarmed the neighborhood. Some bystanders told him that the school was attacked by some militant terrorist group whom held the children, the teachers and guests (the parents, mostly foreign diplomatic personell) hostage in the main hall. They wanted the freedom of their imprisoned comrades in exchange of the hostages lives, or at least the people on the streets thought so. Sam was in schock at first, but he realized he had to do something. He already learned that he cannot change certain things he can’t control, or the past, but if there is something in his power he can do he just has to do it.

So he sneaked past the helpless policemen and took initiative. The honing of his skills payed off. He was able to locate the attackers and by monitoring their patrols and positions he avoided their attention and took most of them down from afar, controlling their movements and crashing them into walls and tumbling them down on stairs. He even managed to reach a phone in the building and noticed the police of the openings so they can seize the opportunity. But the terrorists also noticed his shenanigans and tightened their defenses so the rescuers couldn’t reach the hostages before they could shoot them. Sam made a bold move: he borrowed the clothes of a knocked out attacker to get closer and catch them by surprise. He disabled their guns with his power and engaged them in close combat. Without his extraordinary senses he would certainly have been defeated by the more experienced fighters, but he had the edge they couldn’t match. He fought them in front of the hostages but the borrowed ski mask and garment hid his identity. Eventually the leader of the group attempted escape with his knife held to the neck of the hostage dearest to Sam – Heather’s. He was paralized by the fear that if he makes a mistake with his powers then it could severly wound or even kill her, so he let the man walk away. But as the door closed behind them he once again realized what he had to do.

He went after them and took the mercenaries clothes off. He caught up to them in the small grove next to the border of the schoolyard. The man tried to leave unnoticed and this was the most ideal route. Sam confronted him here and asked the man to let Heather go and take him hostage instead. The man took his mask off – it was the father of Heather’s boyfriend. He said his son helped him to plan this attack and now that Sam interfered and his operation failed he had no other choice but to die for his cause and take Heather and Sam with him. And as he finished talking he pulled the pin of a grenade on his vest. In that one second Sam was able to read his movement and he realized that it was too late to stop the grenade from exploding. Sam moved without thinking and wished for the ability to reach it in time, to push Heather away, to jump on the grenade and concentrate all his power on it, to save her and give his life for her... Pictures of his life flashed before his eyes as he moved towards the fanatical man: flashes of his father and grandparents, his former teammates and coaches, his old and new classmates, an eerily similar scene when he knocked out a ball that seemed now entirely pointless, flashes of his training, of his master, and his mother he couldn’t save, and his love he hoped he could save.

Suddenly he realized that instead of pushing her aside and jumping on the grenade he instinctively shoved the man back several yards with the explosive attached to his vest. Heather fell to the ground and Sam covered her with his body in the last second. As the explosion went off he took a last glance at her and smiled and the last thing he saw was the surprise, pain and tears on her face before everything went black. The last thing he heard was his mothers voice stating she always loved him and always will, then the empty darkness embraced him. The blast torn into his back but the pain was much less worse than he expected. He even remained conscious and although his ears ranged he felt the warmth of Heather’s body in his arms. The policemen found them on the ground embracing each other.

After the incident Heather was distant with everybody around her, except Sam. She lost her trust in other people and only felt secure in the presence of the boy who saved her life. They spent the last days of school together (even when some police officers came to ask some difficult questions but they answered in unison and kept Sam’s abilities secret) and even arranged the summer holiday so they could be together as much as possible. Experienced in fighting insecurity, Sam helped Heather cope with her feelings and to find her outgoing passionate self again in the next several months.

When the new school year started the old routines continued and life went on as normal. Finally everything turned out for the better in Sam’s life. He went back to study in school eagerly, and he was more eager about his Kalari training and of course his girlfriend. Happy and calm months came and went by when something disturbing happened again. His Kalari master watched his developement more carefully and began to suspect something was off with him and took Sam to a yogi who examined him. As it turned out the natural flow of energy in his body was indeed off and the yogi said it was because of some unconvetional medical treatment he received and stated that he was lucky he survived the experiments he went under. Sam wanted to rush back to the clinic where he recovered (a sign that Heather’s personality made a mark on him :) ) but his master suggested a calmer and wiser approach. So Sam agreed that he gets a secondary medical review of himself before confronting the facility. He went back to the US, leaving behind his school, his master, his new life and his love to find answers and help somewhere...

1. Lakás: Manhattan, az Upper West Side-on, a Broadway és a Central Park felső része között valahol. (Majd nézünk pontos címet.) Többszobás, nagyobb apartmanra gondoltam.

2. Öröklés: Apuka mondjuk ingatlanban utazott, a cége befektetéssel foglalkozik ("Blake & Blake Real Estate Investments"), ennek a tulajdonjogát fogja örökölni Sam 21 éves korábban.

A barátnője indiai "promján"/ballagásán viszont szeretne ott lenni, ezért akár hamarabb is lelép a suliból, persze engedéllyel. A nyáron befejezné az Oriental Weapons tanulását mesterétől, aztán felkészülés az egyetemre. New yorki lakás kipofozása, barátnővel beköltözés (ő is a környékre járna egyetemre, jog/nemzetközi tanulmányok szakokra).
