-Psychological: since the training with Philostratus and Professor X, he gained a little control over his Gateway control. Now everyone who wants to pass through has to pay a silver coin - no matter the value -, thrown into the Gate before entering. With this deep instilled trick he can transfer them where they want to go. Without this trigger, the Gate will open "randomly", not to the originally desired location . Owen doesn't know what happens with the victims and he can only follow them if going hand-in-hand into the Gate (not happened yet). From now on, he uses the nickname Ferryman.
