Armor Skin: Rm, he can grow an orange-black insect-like carapace around his body, getting Rank protection vs Physical, and Rank -2cs vs. Energy attacks, and above that giving himself the following abilities:
-Body Resistance: Ty, some parts of his body adapt further, even keeping the ability while the skin is in dormant state, giving his tissues above-human resiliency
-Hyper-Agility: Ex, the texture and build-up of the instect-skin gives him enhanced reflexes
Rocket: Rm, his body can generate a yet-unknown energy exhaust which in turn can lift him into the air and propel him at great speeds
Zombie Animation: In, he can animate any previously living body or part of it.
-Collection: Rm, he can call every bit of dead flesh, bones, etc. to himself from the surrounding 8 areas
-Dead Sense: Rm, he is constantly aware of the dead things around him, within 1 mile. With little effort he can get information about particular corpses, determine their rate of decay, how and when they died, etc.
-Hypnotic Control: Rm, he can plant commands into undead minds, either to control them directly or for future triggers
-Iron Will: Gd, the constant connection to the dead steeled his will, allowing him to shake off some damage by pure will
-Keeping the Face: In, any animated corpse returns to its living appearance as long as his power is active
--Dead Memories: Ty, the animated regains some of its original memories and personality as well, though it won't be the same as it was, so anyone who had good knowledge of it, will notice that something is off on a Reason FEAT vs the power's Rank

History:
He was born to poor family on the island nation Trinidad. His family was (is) heavily infused with traditional beliefs, and follows the vodou religion, even have a houngan in the lines. This made formed him from childhood, easily accepting strange phenomenons as the work of the Loas, or evil spirits. His natural intelligence and affinity moved him under the hands of the gifted and so he learned a lot about magical societies, and other stuff a future houngan should know. Then things changed when he became 15.
His uncle died under misterious circumstances, his father also fell ill and noone could help him in their village. They risked the travel to the Haiti, and then a year later to the US and was succesful by a hair's breadth, loosing only a few of their kin to the waves of the ocean. This trip was the first time when his powers showed themselves, as he clearly felt the dying and their path to the bottom of the ocean. Till they reach the shore, he was overwhelmed by the sensation of the dead bodies, bones and the everyday lifecycles of the water-dwelling creatures and lost consiousness. The cold water and wind might have had its effect, too.
It took more than year for the family to finally find a place to live and employment, all the while supporting his ill father. After things settled - or so it seemed - and Dewain calmed, his father suddenly died. No one knew but Dewain himself kept him moving and acting ever since they arrived to the US and now that the some of the stress moved, his focus failed, too. The flare of power was enough to detect by Cerebro, and so they were visited by the X-men Gold Team and subsequently recruited to the Institute.
